New York, NY (PRWEB) March 2, 2009 -- In the present economy, more and more individuals and need financial assistance dealing with life issues: divorce, financial difficulties, loss of job, housing problems, legal needs, and counseling. Charities have also seen a drop in contributions as many donators are struggling themselves just to stay afloat.
John De Titta has launched Dewingood.com to help address these issues and assist local businesses who participate in the program. Dewingood.com is a social networking site that allows businesses to create a store and sell their products or services online. There is no cost to create a store or become a member. The Dewingood.com model allows a store to allocate a rebate on each sale through the store to the customer/member. The rebate is then passed on to the customer/member in the form of Dewingood Charity Cash. Charity Cash can be accumulated on each purchase and the customer/member can donate the Charity Cash directly to the Charity of their choice through the web site.
Dewingood.com is now accepting local businesses to participate; there is no signup or cost to join and create a store. A Dewingood.com store allows a local business to help those in need based on their online sales. The concept of dewingood.com is to promote and support local businesses while stimulating the non-profit sector. The site will officially launch for members on May 1, 2009
